Teimuraz Samsonidze is a St. Petersburg artist, a member of a generation of contemporary painters working in the traditions of abstractionism and fantasy painting. Born in Leningrad in 1978 to a family of artists, he received his professional education at the St. Petersburg Institute of the Moscow State Academy of Printing Arts, where he mastered the skills of graphic artist and designer.

The artist's works have been exhibited at the State Public Library, the Manege, and the halls of the Union of Artists, and have also been included in a number of thematic exhibitions dedicated to Russia's cultural and historical heritage. Samsonidze's works are held in private collections in Russia and abroad (France, Israel, and the USA). In addition to painting and graphic design, the artist teaches at the House of Children's Art and also has an interest in poetry and theatrical improvisation.

Here's how the artist sees the characters from The Master and Margarita (these works were first published in high quality on Alexander aka Unmodern Person's website, for which he deserves a big thank you from everyone who cares).
